还记得那是一个夏天，太阳火辣辣的，整个人站在外面都快要热晕过去，我走在大马路上，感觉眼前的一切都在旋转，知了不停地叫着，让人觉得心里发慌。我想大概是天气太热了，于是我找了一个凉快的地方安静地坐着。

这时，我看到了一位交警正站在路中央，指挥着车辆，顶着炎炎烈日，豆大的汗珠淌在交警的脸上，身上的衣服都湿透了。他该多辛苦啊!看到这，我心中不禁感慨道。突然我注意到往常立着的遮阳棚不见了，它去哪里了呢?

我回过神来，发现一辆三轮摩托车停在了转盘旁边，有一个人正在与交警交流。因为当时是红灯，所以有好多人在围观，我很好奇，也想去凑上去看个究竟。于是我大步流星地朝人群走去。

来到人群外围，因为我个子矮，看不到具体情况，只能隐隐约约地听到一些声音。这让我更加好奇，我开始用力往里面挤，手一边拨着人群，还一边喊着让一让。

终于来到事发中心，我看到一名穿着蓝色衣服的中年男子与交警正争执着什么。我找了旁边的阿姨了解了下情况，原来是这名男子在路过的时候看见交警的遮阳棚被辆大货车把杆撞断了，正好他自己车上有棚子，于是他二话不说立马走到自己车旁，拿起自己的遮阳棚就要给交警用。

可交警却过意不去，迟迟不肯接受。那名男子见说没有用，就直接动手把遮阳棚给装上了，事情已经发展成这样了，交警也不好推托，就跟着一起帮忙。事后，交警抬起了手臂，向那名男子敬礼，感谢他的好意。而那名男子则高兴地回到了车上，周围响起啪啪一片的掌声。

我的目光追随着那名男子，他在路边摆起了地摊。他把自己做生意要用的遮阳棚执意给了交警，自已却顶着炎热，他舍己为人的品质多么高尚啊!这种精神多么值得我们学习!

这一天对于我来说平凡却不普通。我相信这样的精神，越来越多的人会拥有并传承下去。
