荷塘

“晋陶渊明独爱菊，自李唐来，世人甚爱杜丹，予独爱莲之出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖......”我也和周敦颐一样，对洁白朴素的荷花情有独钟。

沿着弯弯曲曲的小路，我来到了荷花塘。驻足远望，一大片绿色映入眼帘，荷叶像一个个耀眼的翡翠盘，托着冰肌玉骨的荷花。荷花的颜色可真多呀！红胜火、粉如霞、白似雪……微风拂过，我仿佛也成了其中的一朵，跟着姐妹们一起翩翩起舞，完全陶醉其中！

我忍不住凑上前去，荷花真是千姿百态，盛开的好像一位活泼开朗的女孩，正在向你问好；半开的荷花好像一位优雅而害羞的少女，看到有人过来就用手捂住那通红的脸颊；没开的荷花好像一个熟睡的婴儿，不知道什么时候能醒来；凋谢了的荷花也不甘示弱，挺胸抬头似乎让别人看到自己嫩绿的小莲蓬。忽然，一只白色的蜻蜓飞了过来，停落在荷叶上，眼前的美景让我不由想起了杨万里的佳句:“小荷才露尖尖角，早有蜻蜓立上头。”

荷花不仅美丽，而且作用非常大。荷叶可以做中药，莲藕可以做菜。但我更敬佩的却是它的品格：它把美丽给了夏天，给人们视觉上的享受，并散发着幽幽清香，荷叶硕大浑圆，紧贴水面却不随波逐流，正如在复杂的社会中，有许多不良的行为，比如抢劫、盗窃、赌博，但我们要洁身自好，保持一颗纯洁、朴素的心灵。

荷花呀，美丽的荷花，你的花香，令我沉溺；你的舞姿，令我陶醉；你的美丽，令我赞叹；你的精神，令我品读，你出淤泥而不染的品质令我崇敬，我爱你，荷花！

Along the winding path, I came to the lotus pond. When you stop and look far away, a large area of green comes into view. Lotus leaves are like dazzling jade plates, holding the lotus flowers of ice muscle jade bone. There are so many colors of lotus flowers! Red is better than fire, pink is like chardonnay, white is like snow ... After the breeze blows, I seem to be one of them, dancing with my sisters, totally intoxicated!

I can't help but go forward, the lotus flower is really different, blooming like a lively and cheerful girl, saying hello to you; Half-open lotus is like an elegant and shy girl. When she sees someone coming, she covers her red cheek with her hand. An unopened lotus flower is like a sleeping baby, not knowing when it will wake up; The withered lotus is not to be outdone, and it seems that others can see their little green lotus. Suddenly, a white dragonfly flew over and stopped on the lotus leaf. The beautiful scenery in front of me reminded me of Yang Wanli's famous sentence: "Xiaohe only showed sharp corners, and a dragonfly stood on it long ago."

Lotus is not only beautiful, but also very useful. Lotus leaves can be used as traditional Chinese medicine, while lotus roots can be used for cooking. But what I admire more is its character: it gives beauty to the summer, gives people visual enjoyment, and exudes faint fragrance. The lotus leaves are huge and round, and they cling to the water but do not follow the trend. Just as in a complex society, there are many bad behaviors, such as robbery, theft and gambling, but we must keep a pure and simple mind.

Lotus, beautiful lotus, your fragrance makes me addicted; Your dancing makes me intoxicated; I admire your beauty; Your spirit makes me read it, and your quality that comes out of the mud without dye makes me respect it. I love you, Lotus!
