《西游记》这本书中的主人公也很有趣。唐僧的性格沉着冷静;猪八戒好吃懒做、性格善良;孙悟空神通广大，乐于助人;沙和尚关键时刻挺身而出，总是保护师傅。总而言之，四个人都有长处和短处。俗话说:三人行，必有我师焉。我们要努力学习他们的长处，对于短处则要吸取教训。书中的许多困难一人是解决不了的，必须要几人一起合作才能解决。书中给我最重要的启示是:取经途中老乌龟护送唐僧四人越过无法通过的一条河，仅仅是希望唐僧能够问佛祖它的年寿之事。唐僧四人因只顾取得真经把这事给忘了，老龟很生气，一气之下将经书扔下了河……这就是忘恩负义的后果。
