劳动的乐趣

今天，爸爸妈妈带我回上虞爷爷家。爷爷家的后院有一棵粗壮的柿子树，上面挂满了柿子，像一个个金灿灿的小灯笼。爸爸拿来剪刀和篮子准备摘柿子，我呢，在一旁帮爸爸提篮子，很快就摘了满满一篮子。后院还养着一群大白鹅，我不禁想起了《咏鹅》这首诗。

接着，我们又来到了后院的一块地里，那里种着花生、玉米、番薯、高粱和甘蔗等。我们用带来的工具开始挖紫薯。先把紫薯藤翻开，找到它的根，然后用铲子把根部周围的泥土挖开，哇，一个小脑袋露了出来，我轻轻地向下挖，等待大半个都露出来了，就用手摇一摇，再用力一拔，番薯就被我挖出来了。看着自己的劳动成果，我感到很开心。

爷爷家的前面是一片棉花地，棉花已经开了，就像一朵朵白云长在枝头上。奶奶背着箩筐去采棉花，我也跟着一起去帮忙。我看到有些还在开花，有黄的，有红的，爸爸告诉我棉花的花会变色，一开始是黄色的，后来会慢慢变成红色的，我觉得好神奇啊!棉花有些已经结下了棉桃，就像一个个绿色的桃子。有些棉桃已经裂开，吐出了白色的棉絮，我伸手去摘，轻轻一拉，就摘下来了。不一会儿就摘了一大捧。棉花的用途可大了，可以做被子、衣服、棉签、毛巾等。

我还帮奶奶剥毛豆、摘花生。下午，爸爸又带我们去曹娥江边抓螃蟹，抓了一只小螃蟹。

我觉得今天是快乐、充实的一天，因为我体验到了劳动的乐趣。

I saw some flowers were still blooming, some were yellow and some were red. My father told me that the flowers of cotton would change color. At first they were yellow, and then they would slowly turn red. I think it’s so amazing! Some of the cotton is already knotted. The cotton bolls are like green peaches. Some cotton bolls had cracked and spit out white cotton wool. I stretched out my hand to pick it, pulled it lightly, and took it off. In a short while, I picked up a large handful. The use of cotton can be great, it can be used as quilts, clothes, cotton swabs, towels, etc.

I also help grandma peel edamame and pick peanuts. In the afternoon, my father took us to catch a crab by the Cao'e River and caught a small crab.
