Spring in March is a good time to travel. But who would have thought that on a sunny spring day, affected by the new crown epidemic, Jiaxing City launched a level 2 response to major public health emergencies. Overnight, Hecheng was pressed the pause button: factories closed, schools closed, shopping malls closed... But there is such a group of people who choose to go upstream in special times. Their figures walk through the corners of the city, injecting vitality into the city where everything has stopped and adding human touch. Their names are called volunteers, and my dad is one of them. As soon as the "3.28" epidemic occurred in Jiaxing, Dad went to the fruit market in Jiaxing City, the hinterland of the epidemic, to assist in temperature measurement, order maintenance, transportation of materials, food distribution, and transportation of relevant personnel. The first meeting with my dad after leaving home was on the news. In a WeChat tweet, I saw him wearing an airtight protective suit with hazy eyes in the protective mask. But he was dressed as "Da Bai", with one hand behind him and the other with a letter V, but he looked so firm in his upright posture. I immediately understood the persistence behind my father's hardships. Thanks to the joint efforts of the epidemic prevention staff and the citizens of the whole city, the "3.28" epidemic has gradually improved. Seeing my father, who had returned home from quarantine, was slumped on the sofa, I quietly returned to the study. I knew that my father had just been on his battlefield. Triumph, and I have my battlefield. I thought that the epidemic in Hecheng would temporarily come to an end, and I didn't want the "4.2" Haining "war" epidemic to start suddenly. In just two days, the secondary response to major public health emergencies in Haining was adjusted to level 1, and the epidemic situation was very severe. Dad, who had just returned home to rest, immediately set off for Haining to fight the "epidemic". Compared with the last volunteer work, my father seems to be busier this time. Since his departure, he has been in contact with his family only a handful of times. Occasionally, he communicates with his mother on WeChat during breaks, and most of the chats are related to the fight against the epidemic. Until the day when the number of confirmed cases in Haining dropped significantly, he made a video call with us. My father, who usually takes care of me "without eating or sleeping", was eating a boxed lunch while talking to us. Through the small mobile phone screen, I can see my father's red and swollen eyes and dark face, he seems to be a few years older all of a sudden. However, I could see that my father was in a good mood that day. He said with a smile: "We have to do a lot of things every day, distribute living materials, maintain the order of nucleic acid sampling, coordinate important things, and summarize experience every night... Go to bed after two in the morning, and start around five, this is our battle here." The normal state of epidemic cadres. This is a battle, and no one on the battlefield dares to be a little slack and sloppy." He also shared a heartwarming story with us: one morning, a fighter in his village An 80-year-old villager, Lao Yang, suddenly became dizzy at home and could not stand. At that time, the village was organizing the seventh round of nucleic acid collection for all staff in an orderly manner. After receiving the information, the village cadres came to Lao Yang's house while calling the 120 ambulance, and saw Lao Yang's body curled up on the reclining chair and unable to move. The wife looked anxious and overwhelmed. When the village cadres learned that the 120 ambulance would not be able to arrive for a while, they immediately decided to send 2 private cars with epidemic passes to escort them. Dad also quickly coordinated the Municipal People's Hospital to dispatch 120 ambulances to treat patients as soon as possible. Due to timely medical treatment, the patient's condition is currently stable. At this point, I saw him raise the corner of his mouth and calmly said: "Under the epidemic, life comes first and people come first!" Yes, because the belief of "life first, people first" is guiding, there will be thousands of retrogrades like Dad who will abandon their homes and fight for everyone on the front line of the "epidemic". Among them, there are medical staff, police officers, village and community cadres, and "volunteers" from all walks of life. The epidemic is a challenge, and prevention and control is a mission and a responsibility. "A speck of ashes of the times, falling on a person's head, is a mountain." The more such a special moment is, the more it reflects the brilliance of human nature. And the creators of this brilliance are those ordinary people's heroes. They used practical actions to demonstrate their conscientiousness, dedication and responsibility, and became the most dazzling beacon in this city and this era. Today, as a volunteer, my father is still on the front line of the fight against the epidemic in Haining. Spring breeze, help me bring a sentence to my father who is 40 kilometers away: Spring flowers are beginning to bloom by the Nanhu Lake. When you return, we will enjoy the spring flowers together. |
